Untertelfes is a quiet hamlet of Ratschings, nestled in the mountains of South Tyrol. This small sun-drenched village sits on a south-facing slope at the entrance to the Ridnaun valley and enjoys especially many hours of sunshine throughout the year. Our Pension Knappenhof is surrounded here by natural scenery that captivates in every season.
In winter, you'll reach the Ratschings, Rosskopf and Ladurns ski areas within minutes. In summer, you can set off right from the doorstep for hikes, mountain-bike tours and excursions into the surrounding area. And the historic old town of Sterzing is just a short drive away.

The Knappenhof is a bed-only guesthouse – breakfast and meals are not included. In return, you benefit from fair prices and the freedom to plan your day entirely as you wish. Restaurants and shops are conveniently located nearby.
Sustainability
Sustainability is close to our hearts. We generate our electricity from our own hydroelectric plant, and both the heating and the hot water are powered by eco-friendly wood chips. In addition, solar panels help heat the water, and careful waste separation is also important to us.
